Dr. Eric Poznyansky
Dr. Eric Poznyansky is the owner of Riverdale Dental P.C., possessing the highest qualifications and bringing over 20 years of experience in private practice to Riverdale, NY. Dr. Eric, who is a 2004 graduate of New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry, is an active faculty member at NYU College of Dentistry as well as a clinical assistant professor at NYU College of Dentistry’s Advanced Programs for International Dentists. These programs teach practicing dentists all over the world basic and advanced surgical and prosthodontic techniques of implant dentistry.
Dr. Eric Poznyansky is also certified in Invisalign treatments. He participates in conferences and is educated in advanced technology for treating all of your dental needs.
When Dr. Eric is not practicing dentistry or participating in dental conferences he spends his time working out, training in MMA (mixed martial arts), and is very big into nutrition. He feels that a healthy body focuses the mind and he enjoys spending his free time focusing on his overall health.
Dr. Tamar Shiller
Dr. Tamar Shiller grew up in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio and moved to New York City to pursue her career in dentistry. She graduated from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, completed one year of general practice residency, and an additional year as a chief resident at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY. She won the Vincent Silane Award for Resident of the Year and the Excellence in Prosthodontics Award during her residency. Over the course of her training, she has gained skills in restorative dentistry, emergency care, full mouth rehabilitation, cosmetic procedures, extractions, bone grafting, laser surgery, root canal treatment, dermal fillers, and dental implants.
As a dentist, her ultimate goal is to provide exceptional, personalized care to her patients while ensuring their comfort and well-being. She is dedicated to learning the latest advancements in dentistry and continuously improving her skills. It is her privilege and honor to serve the dental needs of her patients and contribute to their overall health and happiness.
Outside of dentistry, she has a few passions that bring balance to her life including art, cooking, staying active, and traveling.
Dr. Irene Kim
Dr. Kim received her bachelor of arts/doctor of dental surgery (BA/DDS) in a 7-year joint program at New York University College of Dentistry. Upon graduation, she pursued her certificate in Periodontology at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she also received her master of medical science (MMSc) in oral biology. Dr. Kim’s research focused on quantitative analysis of volumetric change after two soft tissue grafting procedures, and she presented at the Ivy Symposium on periodontal regeneration infrabony defects.
Dr. Kim enjoys traveling and exploring different foods and cultures, spending time with her friends and family, and playing sports such as basketball, soccer, softball, and snowboarding. She also likes to give back to the community, participated in the Global Outreach in Grenada, and served as the Director of Community Service in the NYU Aesthetic Society as a dental student.
